About the author

Joe Naab left the U.S. in 2001, traveling freely for three consecutive years scouting out candidate countries and cities in search of a new place to call home. He's now lived in south Brazil for eight years where, among other things, he helps others uproot to start a new life, or to establish a second home, in another country.

In addition to his guide book, he offers phone consultations to address the specific needs of each individual. He has coached several people through the process of leaving their country of origin for the destination of their dreams.
